RESPONSIBILITIES (Essential functions of the position)

Supervise the daily operations of a bottling line(s). Ensure efficient production of packages within set quality guidelines.


Supervise and train hourly personnel assigned to bottling line(s) and provide guidance as needed. Schedule and assign work activities.


Supervise on-line training & appropriate testing.


Work with maintenance to ensure bottling line(s) is kept in optimal working condition.


Embrace Continuous Improvement. Develop and initiate more efficient processes for operating bottling lines.


Ensure that a correct package is provided (i.e., labels, caps, hang tag) and production quotas are met.


Complete daily reports documenting productions totals and bottling line issues.


Enter daily production, order/transfer information into AS400 and SAP systems. Ensure accuracy by reconciling variances on a daily basis through AS400 and SAP in collaboration with Shipping.

Situation focus online shift.

  • Safety: consistency enforce rules and expectations of Safety KPIs while ensuring Drive daily real time results of assigned lines to meet KPIs.
  • Grow people and build capabilities through coaching, training and career development
  • Focus on Engagement (Enablement, etc.) leading shift huddles and shift handovers.

Real Time Data Collection Responsibilities

  • Update and also coach operators to utilize Mapex and Tier 1 Boards.
  • Escalation of daily problem(s) through DDS process and daily reports and update Bottling Playbook.

Operational Excellence

  • Participate and engage team on UDM, STR, and 5S activities making sure team is following through
  • Escalation of issues through DDS process and daily reports.

Be knowledgeable of union contract and manage employees according to the agreement.


Handle behavioral concerns, employee grievances and issue 1st level of discipline as needed.


Assist with projects and assignments as needed.


Maintain a safe working environment in accordance with OSHA and Safety Regulations.


Work on special projects as required.


Adheres to and promotes environmental health and safety as one of the organization’s business priorities.


Promote, enforce and adhere to HACCP, 5S and ISO standards.


Accept other duties as assigned.



Qualifications & Experience

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education-Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Flexibility to work any shift required
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing or production environment required
  • Minimum 2 years supervisor experience preferred
  • Certifications/Licensure-SAP, HACCP and ISO or Continuous Improvement experience preferred
  • Level of experience-Minimum three years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong problem-solving ability.
  • Working knowledge of computer systems, to include the SAP and Microsoft Office suite of applications.
  • Industry experience-Ability to lead a team in a unionized environment. Knowledge of Food Safety and GMP practices.
  • Must have mobility to access all areas of the plant, climb ladders and walk up and down stairs, stoop and bend, and lift up to 40lbs.
