Hana Meds is an Arizona based, State licensed, marijuana company. We produce and distribute the very popular brands of Dutchie Pre-rolls and Concentrates, and Willie's Reserve products. Hana Meds is seeking full-time and part-time Budtenders to join our team located in Phoenix. A Budtender informs and services customers and patients in the selection and purchasing of cannabis and any related products.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Checks in customers and verifies status on AZDHS system.
• Provides customers with information about cannabis and alternatives.
• Assists customers with product selection.
• Processes customer orders and payments utilizing POS software.
• Maintains appropriate stock quantities.
• Assists management staff in the general operation of the facility.
• Presents a clean and safe facility.
• Collects payments by accepting cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits payments from customers; issuing receipts, refunds, credits, or change for cash customers.
• Provides pricing information by answering questions.
• Itemizes and totals purchases by recording prices, departments, taxable and nontaxable items; operating a cash register.
• Maintains checkout operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
• Balances cash drawer by counting cash at the beginning and end of work shift to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.
• Discounts purchases by redeeming coupons.
• Enters price changes by referring to price sheets and special sale bulletins.
• Greets customers entering establishments and when they arrive at the counter.
• Promotes a safe and courteous environment.
• Aid customers in an efficient and timely manner.
• Provide customers with education and information about the uses of cannabis and alternatives.

• Interact with customers in a professional and compassionate manner.
• Provide customers with appropriate options based on supplied educational materials.
• Inputs customer’s order quantities in accordance with remaining availability.
• Packages and labels customer orders in accordance with packaging policy standards.
• Produces sales receipt.
• Receives and deposits appropriate monetary compensation.
• Routinely checks the inventory level of stocked items.
• Refills stock quantities to company required minimums and maximums.
• Communicates customer concerns to management team.
• Recognizes and communicates potential safety concerns to management team.
• Completes additional assignments and tasks as assigned by management.
• Sweep, mop, and clear the floors of the facility throughout the day to present a clean environment.
• Cleans all glass windows, displays, and surfaces to be free of accumulated dirt or smudges.
• Dusts appropriate surfaces regularly to prevent the accumulation of dust.
• Clears trash bins and replaces them with appropriate trash bin liners.
• Dresses in appropriate professional attire.
• This position will require the applicant to routinely stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, and bend for up to 6-8 hours. Position requires the occasional lifting of objects in excess of 25 lbs. Employees under this position are required to talk and hear.
