About the department

Cloudflare's Procure to Pay department is housed within the Finance organization. Our reach is global, supporting thousands of purchases across our offices, per quarter. We use an integrated platform for purchase-order based Procurement, and a contract management and collaboration tool for negotiated, signed contracts. We work cross functionally with business stakeholders, with the majority of our purchases involving technology and internet infrastructure. As a result, we require familiarity with industry trends and challenges needed by our internal customers. Our team is responsible for setting policies, defining new processes, and ensuring that the Procurement function aligns to Cloudflare's long-term strategic vision and goals. We are a small and growing team, presenting lots of opportunity for professional growth and visibility across multiple divisions.

What you'll do

Cloudflare's Business Analyst will support the end-to-end sourcing, contracting, and supplier management processes. Ours is a growing company therefore, applicants should anticipate that this role may evolve over time. This person will be an internal point of contact for key business functions. In addition, they will work closely with other functions within Procurement including Procurement Operations and Accounts Payable.

We are looking for business-driven, experienced professionals who love KPIs, are strong collaborators, and bring relentless attention to detail. We are seeking a procurement professional who can support the end-to-end process from planning to signature through post-signature contract reviews and vendor performance management. The ideal candidate for this role is a proactive problem solver, fearless, approachable, and adaptable. You enjoy spreadsheets, seek out metrics to maximize value, exercise judgment and operate independently.

Key Functions:

• Project management
• Coordinate with business stakeholders to produce better outcomes
• Create and test business processes and recommend improvements
• Clear and well structured writing for business documents

• Convert roadmap features into user stories
• Identify opportunities for automation
• Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations for business performance
• Analyze process issues and suggesting improvements
• Communicate and validate business requirements with stakeholders
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools
• Perform data discovery, analysis, and modeling
• Roadmap planning and prioritization
• Manage tools - enhancements, integrations, maintenance
• Data cleanup efforts across all tools, databases, workflows, etc.
• Database cleanup and remediation

Examples of desirable skills, knowledge and experience

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or related field
• 5+ years experience within a global procurement department for technology services company highly desirable
• Skilled understanding of contracting and sourcing processes
• Strong operational and organizational skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills for facilitating collaboration by cultivating relationships and communicating with cross-functional partner
• Ability to prioritize requests and communicate effectively in a deadline driven environment
• Strong negotiation skills
• Proficiency in Ironclad, or similar CLM software is desired but not required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Compensation

Compensation may be adjusted depending on work location.

• For Colorado-based hires: Estimated annual salary of $95,000 - $116,000.
• For New York City-based hires: Estimated annual salary of $105,000 - $129,000.
