Business Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Business Analyst will work along side the operations team to perform detailed analysis of healthcare claim data. The role will require interaction with all levels of the organization.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Serve as a liaison between operational stakeholders and the IT department to produce analytics designed to support decision making.

· Create reports, visualizations, dashboards, and metrics that provide business insight and aid business decision making.

· Develop a good understanding of the business’s model, objectives, issues, and challenges by interacting and collaborating with users and key stakeholders.

· Analyze data workflow and work with IT department to make changes in the system for correction or optimization.

· Gather critical information from meetings with various stake holders to interpret end user requirements and deliver reporting/data requests in a timely manner.

· Develop and maintain procedures for gathering and reporting on data

· Assists in developing presentations as appropriate for leadership.

· Stay up to date on the latest processes and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems

· All other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare administration, or related field, Masters preferred
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business analysis, or a related field

· Ability to manage multiple competing priorities to achieve desired outcomes

• Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
• Advanced technical skills in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word), Multiple EHR Systems, Power BI, Project Management Software
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations
• Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skill

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
