As the Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) Business Unit within Intel, we will continue to apply Moore's Law to drive the future of Field-Programmable Gate (FPGA) technology. PSG has been delivering industry-leading custom logic solutions to customers since inventing the world's first reprogrammable logic device in 1984. To take advantage of the many opportunities that we see in the future for FPGA's, PSG's Cloud and Platform Technology Group is looking for an outstanding Business Development Manager (BDM).

In this role, you will organize and execute to Cloud and Enterprise Acceleration Division's Data Center strategy in cooperation with other Intel BUs. You will engage with our customers' high-level system architects, and key decision makers, to understand their system applications, influence their design choices and ensure they are architected with, and around Intel's FPGAs. You will align with the key influencers, both at Intel, and at the customer's technical staff to work on FPGA related proof of concept applications.

The BDM role for Intel requires judgment of where to prioritize projects, investments, and resources for future revenue gain. It also requires a technical understanding of multiple, complex technology segments including the emerging infrastructure offload - network analytics, computational storage, cache coherent interconnect, server platform management, and other categories.

Job Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Creating and communicating market segment long-term outlook, contributing to the business plan.
• Conducting competitive analysis, collaborating with internal partners, and proposing deeply technical and commercial solutions for data center acceleration solutions using Intel® FPGAs and eASICs™.
• Driving proof of concept designs for our data center customers.
• Managing business development and coordinating technical marketing activities.
• Influencing technical solution and product development by partnering closely with strategic and product marketing and both chip and solution architects to deploy Intel® FPGAs and eASICs™ for workload optimization in data centers.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Business Management with 7+ years of experience.
• 5+ years of experience in partnering across a technical organization with proven leadership skills.
• 5+ years of experience working with customers and partners in more than one of the following application acceleration domains: Data Analytics (DA), Containerized Hardware Microservices and FPGA-as-a-Service (FPGAaaS), Cloud Native application Acceleration.
• 5+ years of experience in a business role in the semiconductor industry, or a technical role with customer-facing experience and high business acumen.
• 5+ years of experience with CSPs, system OEMs, ODMs, or CMs in the data center or cloud vertical market segment.
• 5+ years of experience in system products, such as compute nodes, HCI, storage arrays, network switches and good understanding of the components associated with those systems.
• 5+ years of experience with acceleration services in networking, storage, virtualization, and security.
• Willing to travel, both domestic and international.

Preferred Qualifications

• FPGA experience: hardware, IP design requirements and effort estimation.
• Experience in building product roadmaps.

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
