HOW A BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

• Determining operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats
• Analyzing requirements; constructing workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications, use cases, and/or Agile stories
• Improving systems by studying current practices and designing improved processes and workflows
• Defining project requirements
• Maintaining system protocols by writing and updating procedures
• Providing references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation; providing help desk support; training users
• Preparing technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
• Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Written and verbal communication skills

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field, Master's degree preferred
• Required Experience: 10+ years of technical experience
• Required Technical Skills: Agile, Modernization of Applications
• Security Clearance Level: Public Trust; The security clearance for this program requires the selected candidate to have resided in the US for the past five years. The selected candidate cannot have left the country for longer than 90 consecutive days and no more than 180 cumulative days.
• Required Skills and Abilities: Experience with Modernization
• Experience with USPS preferred
• Location: Falls Church, VA
