Job description

Main purpose of job: Provide exceptional customer service to all retail customers by greeting every customer and offering efficient and accurate check out experience.

Duties include:

• Greeting customers as they enter and exit the store
• Offering to help customers locate items
• Cashing out customers for sales and returns
• Counting till money at the beginning and ending of every shift
• Ability to use POS
• Making and ensuring all store signage is accurate, clean and presentable
• Maintaining an organized and stocked store front
• Helping put away freight
• Maintaining a clean store
• Keeping cashier area clean and organized
• Taking out garbage and recycling when assigned
• Cleaning and stocking restrooms when assigned
• Assisting Retail Managers and PIC’s in whatever tasks are required

Physical Requirements include:

• Ability to lift 5 lbs – 15 lbs frequently
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
• Must be able to perform overhead work on an occasional basis
• Ability to remain standing for full shifts
• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment requiring frequent face-to-face interactions with retail customers
• Ability to work as part of a team in fast pace setting
• Must have ability to crouch, bend and twist at the waist'
