DUTIES:
- Meal preparation/defrosting for dinner and assist dietary aide for lunch and dinner.
- Put groceries away, ensuring all items are properly dated, rotated, and stored.
- Cook meals and provide snacks for the residents, following the menu plan.
- Ability to meet individual needs and requests as it pertains to dietary
- Prepare the food for the residents. Must understand special dietary orders as prescribed by doctors (how to prepare mechanical soft or pureed diet food, including properly thickened liquids as ordered by the doctor.)
- Assist any residents that need help eating their meals.
- Assist in clean up, kitchen maintenance and setting up and taking down the dining areas
- Other job duties include delivering food to residents' rooms, when necessary, preparing and serving snacks and taking inventory of food and kitchen supplies.
