$69,000.00 - $82,800.00
Position Summary:
Plans and coordinates compliance activities of the Operations Division to meet LBWL NERC CIP compliance obligations. This position is responsible for managing activities to ensure and demonstrate compliance with all NERC Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) requirements.
Essential Functions:
- The position coordinates and manages all CIP compliance activities within the BWL for maintaining compliance and capturing all required evidence to demonstrate compliance. The position is also responsible for providing support as required for self-certifications, audit preparation, self-reports, and mitigation plans, the submission of Technical Feasibility Exceptions (TFEs)among other activities.
- Coordinates with NERC Compliance team to promote an understanding of compliance responsibilities for Operations Technology Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and facilitate education, information, and training to achieve and sustain compliance success.
- Participate on working groups and task force activities to represent interests and acquire information on best practices that can be implemented in Operations as it relates to CIP compliance and Cyber Security industry best practices.
- Maintain a complete understanding of present NERC CIP standard requirements, measures, and compliance reporting, quickly develop working knowledge of future revisions, and be an SME on these standards for the BWL.
- Serves as an interface between team members, business units, support groups, corporate areas, contractors, and vendors to ensure appropriate communication and problem resolution as it relate to NERC CIP compliance.
- Identifies, resolves, and escalates, as needed, more complex project issues.
- Executes, defines, and provides support for internal functional processes and procedures as it relates to CIP compliance.
- Provides customer support to deliver CIP compliance results to internal and external parties.
- Identifies and communicates problems and resolutions to management and/or customers.
- Proactively tracks the CIP compliance tasks being performed by the SMEs to ensure that the tasks are being performed as required and provides compliance metrics to management.
- Develop, maintain, and collect evidence to demonstrate compliance; and coordinate audit responses with all internal and external vendors (auditors) related to compliance and regulatory auditing.
- Responsible for developing, maintaining and periodically review the Reliability Standards Audit Worksheets (RSAWs) to support mock audits and RF CIP audits.
- Develop, implement, and report on the OT NERC CIP compliance program and internal control framework and metrics.
- Actively participate and conduct management testing of key controls and evaluate LBWL readiness to meet NERC CIP compliance requirements.
- Predictable and reliable attendance.

Job Specifications:
Required:
- This position requires knowledge which is normally required through the completion of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Ability to manage and organize multiple tasks with recurring deadlines.
- Must have excellent verbal / written communication skills.
- Must demonstrate basic level proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable record.
- Demonstrated ability to work with customers, outside agencies and vendors.
- Ability to enter and retrieve data from computerized, typed, and written sources.
Preferred:
- Experience in Cyber Security industry best practices and the NERC CIP standards as it relates to Operational Technology (OT) systems within a utility environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of NERC-CIP requirements. Experience working with audits of utility operations and/or OT systems is a plus.
- Understanding of the regulatory structure of FERC, NERC, RF is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of Cyber Security CIP tools, such as Security Information Event Monitoring, Configuration Monitoring, Patch Management, Malicious Code Prevention, account management, firewall protections, and intrusion systems (IDS/IPS) preferred.

May need to lift and carry up to 30 pounds and/or position the body to reach items on the floor/below knee level or reach overhead. The person in this position needs to occasionally move about in industrial environments, and uneven terrain. May be required to recognize small numbers, letters, symbols, colors on prints, and/or operate field instruments/equipment.
Works in temperature-controlled office environment, with occasional work in outdoor weather conditions, and in industrial environments
Must successfully complete a background check, a substance screening, and a physical (if applicable).
