Brooke Army Medical Center, serving our military heroes and their families.

As a Full-Time GiaMed JV employee, you can expect:

• No On-Call

SCHEDULE: SLOW ROTATING

BIRTHING CENTER CONSISTS OF:

• 12 antepartum rooms
• 12 postpartum rooms
• 11 labor rooms
• Fully equipped triage area
• Staffed with Maternal Fetal Specialists
• Staffed with Certified Lactation Consultants
• Staffed with BC Midwives & Obstetricians

Caring for patients in the Labor & Delivery Unit with the ability to cover Antepartum, Postpartum, Couplet Care, and Circulating during C-Sections. Candidates must have well-rounded experience in all areas of Birthing Center for consideration.
As a GiaMed employee, your duties and responsibilities will be the same as any other registered nurse on the same unit. Duties can include but are not limited to the following: team lead, precept, orientate, rapid response, and other tasks as needed.
Must be a U.S. citizen

• ACLS, BLS & Certification Current
• NRP Certification Current
• Intermediate National Fetal Heart Monitoring Certification (within the last 2 years)
• The RN must hold 2 years of full-time experience in an L & D unit within the last 5 years.
