We are looking for a Commercial Roofing Superintendent that will be responsible for supervising projects from planning to completion. Inspect roofing system for quality assurance to ensure it exceeds industry standards and confirm the client is satisfied. Communicate with the client, craftsmen, and managers about the job progress. Participate and enforce safety practices on jobsites.

Essential Functions

• Regularly inspects work for quality and timeliness; prepares and provides progress reports to management; makes recommendations for necessary modifications
• Perform change orders requiring different product, services and prices.
• Contribute and attend production and safety meetings on a regular basis or as required.
• Supervise and give directions to crews while being attentive to their needs.
• Perform timely evaluations on current installs and crews.
• Directly supervise subcontractors to verify that they are supplying adequate resources to meet contract and deadline requirements
• Directly supervise all on-site personnel on projects as required
• Adheres to all company Best Practices
• Reports to Operation Manager of any disciplinary action during current installs and crews as needed in accordance with company policy.
• Responsible for preventative and repair maintenance for all tools, machines, and equipment
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Manage day to day operations of all field employees.

Experience and Skill Required

• At least five years of Superintendent or foreman experience.
• Advanced knowledge of the roofing industry and construction techniques.
• Excellent managerial and supervisory skills.
• Strong communication, organization, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.
• Good computer skills required. Software includes estimating program, Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Architect and Engineering print reading required.
• Possess a valid, insurable driver’s license.
