About the Position:

Kaplan Early Learning Company is looking for an experienced marketer with a t-shaped skill set, a flexible mindset, and a desire for continuous improvement to join a cross-functional Agile team. A content creator at heart, the ideal candidate is an entertaining storyteller with a passion for understanding customer needs and teaching others. We're looking for a self-starter with a diverse skillset who is ready to work collaboratively to ideate, storyboard, create and promote content in a variety of formats that attracts, engages, and delights our customers-early educators.

Position Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience creating innovative, engaging content in a variety of formats that drives outcomes.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, or related field.
• Passion for good copy, witty communications, and strong visual aesthetics.
• Obsession with marketing analytics, optimizing content, and staying ahead of industry trends.
• Willingness to experiment constantly with what's new in blogging, podcasting, social media, executive thought leadership, and more.
• Understanding of how content, SEO, and social media marketing work together to bring in leads and how timely, relevant content and email marketing nurture these prospects.
• Understanding of Agile values and principles a plus. Agile marketing certification (ICP-MKG) is a considered huge advantage.
• Experience working with tools of the trade - CRM, marketing automation, social listening, Google Analytics, Jira, and so on.
• Digital photography experience and experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premier Pro and After Effects) is considered an advantage.
• Roll-your-sleeves-up, "no task is too small", positive attitude and team player mentality.
