Residential Life, within the Division of Student Affairs, co-creates exceptional and innovative living learning environments for the campus community. Responsibilities:

The Coordinator for Residential Student Conduct and Community Wellbeing will work with the Assistant Director of Residential Student Conduct and Community Wellbeing to assist in all aspects of the residential student conduct process and wellbeing initiatives.

Specific duties include:

  • Serving as a designated conduct officer
  • Advising the Peer Review Council
  • Reviewing conduct-related documentation of a confidential and sensitive nature
  • Ensuring appropriate case management, conduct workflow and federal reporting
  • Assisting with student wellbeing initiatives, including quarantine and isolation housing coordination and working with student wellbeing peer advocates
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Required Minimum Qualifications:

Requires a Bachelor’s Degree

Requires a minimum of one year of full-time experience in student affairs (college or university conduct, housing or residential education), a non-profit setting or similarly applicable experience.



Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Higher Education, Education, Business Administration, Leadership Studies, Psychology, Africana Studies, Women and Gender Studies, Social Work, Policy, Conflict Resolution, Restorative Practices/Justice, Political Science, Law or a related field.

Administrative and computer application skills required to maintain a case management and tracking system. Specifically, experience working with Advocate by Symplicity conduct database or a similar conduct database. Demonstrated knowledge of the philosophy of restorative practices and its utility in educational settings. Demonstrated sensitivity to multicultural issues and proven ability to sustain collaborative and culturally inclusive relationships.
