CRNA opportunity–73 24-hour shifts supporting nine ORs at Inova Loudoun Hospital and 10 suites at ASC in Leesburg, VA

Inova Loudoun Hospital and Inova Loudoun Ambulatory Surgery Center in Leesburg, VA, are growing and expanding their services. Located in Loudoun County, the 275-bed Inova Loudoun Hospital features nine operating suites and two endoscopy suites and is Loudoun County’s only designated trauma center, pediatric emergency room, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and hospital-based natural birth center. The busy ambulatory surgery center on the same campus has 10 suites and two interventional medicine suites.

Anesthesia providers provide care at both hospital and ASC.

Case Assignments

GYN, ortho, ENT, neuro, OB, heart, vascular, healthy pediatrics, ENT, orthopedics, spine, interventional radiology/cardiology, podiatry, and GI. CRNAs do OB, epidurals but not blocks.

Shifts

Business is 50/50 between hospital and ASC. Hospital and ASC are on same campus (just 2 sites). All CRNAs cover hospital and ASC. 73 x 24-hour shifts in a year. Overtime available, if desired - Weekend call shift requirement (one weekend per month).

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Pre-anesthesia assessment
• Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
• Performance of clinical intervention as needed

Requirements

• Current license as a registered professional nurse
• Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
• Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists

• Salary: $249,840 - $270,640
