Pay Rate: $15.00- $17.00 (Based on experience).
HES Facilities Management is seeking a Custodial Project Tech to help assist Management with Custodial Projects in multiple locations within the School District of Newberry County. This individual must have experience in using a Low Speed Buffer Machine to Scrub/Strip floors such as Tile and Grout, VCT, or Terrazzo. This individual will work alongside management to refinish and clean floors, powerwash, and to complete any other projects assigned by Management.
The Project Tech will be responsible for inspecting, training, and maintaining acceptable supply levels in each facility. The Project Tech will also fill in for custodians and will work sporting events as needed.

- Demonstrate ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Energetic, hard working, dependable, and detail-oriented.
- Experience in custodial services, floor care.
- Experience in a K-12 custodial environment.
Requirement:
- Dependable transportation.
- Prompt, regular attendance.
- Prior custodial experience.
- Position available immediately.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, scrub, and wax floors.
- Machine shampoo carpeting.
- Clean walls, vents, screens, furniture, drinking fountains, light fixtures, window blinds, brass, and other interior fixtures.
- Wash interior and exterior windows and glass doors.
- Clean restrooms and replenish supplies.
- Organize and supply custodial closets as needed.
- Move, remove, and/or setup furniture, furnishings, supplies, equipment, and any other items, inside specified rooms for special functions as directed.
