Cyber Analyst (Mal/Dis/Misinformation Analyst) with a
TS/SCI eligible (SBPR within past 7 years) to support
PAC and our government customer in Washington, DC.

The Cyber Analyst (Mal/Dis/Misinformation) would serve as a member of the Counterintelligence and Insider Threat Branch and be responsible for the analysis of cybersecurity threats.
Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Cyber Analyst (Mal/Dis/Misinformation Analyst) Tasks:
- Identifies and assesses the capabilities and activities of cybersecurity criminals or foreign intelligence entities; produces findings to help initialize or support law enforcement and counterintelligence investigations or activities.
- Develops cyber indicators to maintain awareness of the status of the highly dynamic operating environment. Processes, analyzes, and disseminates cyber threat/warning assessments.
- Expertly briefs personnel on intelligence matters.
- Demonstrates expertise in reviewing, evaluating and decision-making regarding the value of intelligence reports and other strategic and tactical products.
- Analyzes data/information from one or multiple sources to conduct preparation of the environment, respond to requests for information, and submit intelligence requirements in support of planning and operations.
Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Must be a U.S. citizen and possess and maintain a Top Secret with SCI clearance level.
- Two years of experience, education, and/or training that has provided an extensive knowledge of international security programs.
- Knowledge of intelligence frameworks, processes, and related systems, as well as cyber intelligence/information repositories.
- Knowledge of cyber operations concepts, terminology/lexicon (i.e. environment preparation, cyber-attack, cyber defense), principles, capabilities, limitations, and effects, as well as the cyber-attack stages (e.g., reconnaissance, scanning, enumeration, gaining access, escalation of privileges, maintaining access, network exploitation, covering tracks).
- Ability to synthesize complex information and communicate analysis in written products and verbal presentations.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability devise and implement creative solutions.
- Ability to represent the organization in intra- and inter-agency meetings, and with external partners
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
Working Environment & Conditions
This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.
The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
