Position Summary
Under direction, performs administrative, data collection and operational activities for clinical research studies. This role also maintains databases that will be used for data analysis.
Job Responsibilities
- Assists research team with the enrollment, treatment, and data collection of research subjects.
- Ensures accurate and timely compilation of subject data.
- Reports all Serious Adverse Events (SAEs) to Institutional Review Board and other agencies, as required.
- Maintains research records pertinent to active participation as a member institution of cooperative groups and research consortiums.
- Reviews clinical charts and compiles laboratory and clinical data.
- Prepares and analyzes data reports.
- Prepares and coordinates all documents necessary to initiate and continue studies.
- Assists in the preparation of abstracts and manuscripts.
- Prepares graphs, tables, charts, slides and posters.
- Proofreads research materials and documents.
- Coordinates and participates in site visits and audits. Ensures readiness and compliance. Addresses and resolves issues uncovered during visit/audit.
Education
- High school diploma or GED

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to pay close attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple simultaneous demands and prioritize work.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
