Work Place

• Lake City, Florida and Jasper, Florida

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain productive scheduling and patient flow within the practice
• Develop and present treatment plans of various levels of complexity
• Oversee the calculation, collection and posting of patient co-payments on day of visit
• Prepare and present treatment plans with financial options to assist patients with proceeding with treatment.
• Utilize appropriate methods of patient financing
• Understand dental insurance explanations of benefits
• Follow office procedures for patient referrals
• Meet office financial goals and KPI’s
• Assist with the doctor and clinical staff when necessary
• Understanding of OSHA and HIPPA

Qualifications

• Passionate about patient care and delivering exception service
• Ability to multi-task and effectively solve problems
• Advanced knowledge of insurance billing and coding
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Energized and ability to work in fast paced work environment
• Bring a positive attitude and foster team unity
• Proficient with practice management software (Open Dental preferred)

Credentials

• 2+ years’ experience in dental office (clinical OR administrative)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
