Virtual Dining Concepts is looking for a customer service-oriented IT professional to support and assist in maintaining organizational computer systems, desktops, and any peripherals within the environment. These tasks include but not limited to installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading organizational hardware and equipment while ensuring optimal workstation performance.
This is a multi-brand organization that requires clear and effective communication to end users from the start of a reported issue to a determined solution. The ability to also maintain strong written documentation of issues and actions taken to remediate such is imperative.
We are looking for a motivated and driven individual that can support not only the end user base but the IT team with bringing new and innovative solutions identified in the IT space.
Responsibilities
- Effectively communicate and update users within Helpdesk environment
- Troubleshoot system issues in a hybrid Apple/Windows environment
- Maintaining an inventory of installed software, managing software licensing, and creating policies and procedures for upgrades
- Creating user accounts and managing access control based on company policies within the Microsoft environment
- Analyzing and making recommendations for hardware and software standardization
- Assist in assigned projects/tasks as needed for the department
Requirements and skills
- Bachelor's degree in IT field preferred (or related work experience)
- Desktop Support experience Required
- Proficient within a Windows based environment
- Experience with Ring Central a Plus
- Experience with Active Directory preferred
- Experience in a restaurant industry is a plus
- MUST currently reside in the Orlando Area
