Position Summary/Purpose of Position:
This is a part-time Contingent I (contractual) position. Manages the day-to-day operations of the Facilities Management (FM) website, ensuring that content is accurate and up-to-date. Creates, updates, and maintains web pages and other digital publications. Works with FM Communications team to establish the visual style of the FM website and ensures compliance with accessibility standards, style guides, and policies and procedures. Serves as a technical resource, Creates and optimizes content and graphics. Drives digital media traffic. Measures and reports on engagement.

Experience:
- 4 – 5 years of experience designing, building, coding, and optimizing websites.
- Extensive experience using content management systems and graphic design software (Adobe Suite).
- Experience working productively with all levels of staff from employees to senior management, in a variety of settings (small group, large group, one on one).
- Experience working independently and successfully in a customer service-focused role.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Organization, attention to detail, ability to focus/concentrate for extended periods.
- Ability to independently manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Thorough understanding of web accessibility issues and ADA compliance standards.
- Skill in use of all Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Suite, and CMS applications.
- Knowledge of layout principles, and aesthetic design concepts, familiarity with emerging web concepts, practices, and procedures, and strong understanding of information architecture.
- Understanding of web design basics and function (browser issues, cross-platform compatibility, color and loading-speed of images, etc.).
- Knowledge of, and experience in application of organizational branding and style to digital media.
