Nazareth college invites experienced admissions/SLATE captains to apply for the position of
Director of Enrollment Operations. Providing exemplary service to the institution and its
students, the Director of Enrollment Operations will lead a team of four skilled, data driven
customer-oriented enrollment professionals. The Director of Enrollment Operations will serve
and actively participate as a member of the senior enrollment management leadership team of the
enrollment division, reporting to the Vice President for Strategic Enrollment Management.

Essential Functions

• Manage the recruitment, application processing, and correspondence of undergraduate and graduate
• students with the goal of increasing applications and yield of undergraduate and graduate enrollment.
• Create and maintain undergraduate and graduate statistical reports for the Vice President for Strategic
• Enrollment Management (VPSEM), Dean of First-Year Admissions and AVP for Graduate and
• Transfer Admissions; coordinate with the Institutional Research Analyst to ensure accurate and
• consistent data.
• Supervise Operations staff to ensure that the admissions processing is accurate and efficient
• Assist with strategy for search fulfillment with collaboration of admissions operational staff,
• marketing and communication, the mail house, and vendors.
• Serve as one of the slate captains to assist with slate updates to allow Nazareth to recruit and admit
• undergraduate and graduate students.
• Manage all slate operations from day-to-day operations, data flow, drip campaigns and building reports
• Collaborate with the Director of Institutional Research to build enrollment reports and dashboards to
• illustrate current and past enrollment trends. Assist with developing a territory management model and develop reports to track counselor territory:
• Inquiry, applications, admits year over year.
• Create a student engagement team to increase conversion of inquiries to applications and increase completed applications.
• Analyze data to identify enrollment, territory or geographic opportunities to increase applications, admits and enrollment
• Analyze data to identify academic (Major) and application trends
• Bring new/ innovative processing ideas to the VPSEM; work to promote new program initiatives and create admissions processes to implement new strategies
• Work with the VPSEM to create reports for Enrollment Retreats, Board Meetings, Town Hall meeting and other events as needed
• And other duties as assigned by the VPSEM

Required Education, Experience, Technology Applications and Skills

• Bachelors Degree
• 5 Years of higher education experience
• Model high standards of honesty, integrity, trust and ethical behavior
• Deep understanding of academic standards and industry wide best practices in college admissions.
• Well-read on higher education issues and attuned to the changing landscape in the higher education sector.
• Ability to establish creditability and confidence with stakeholders on and off campus.
• Able to represent the College effectively in public.
• Competence in communicating, understanding and working effectively with people from diverse
• academic, socioeconomic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds.
• Managerial competence with student information database systems and client relationship management tools.
• Superior collaboration and coordination skills with the ability to engage campus partners and outside agencies.
• Follows through on both strategic and tactical objectives to achieve goals.
• Is reflective and instills trust through openness, respect and honesty with others at all times.
• Provides superior customer service and motivates others to ensure the same customer-focused
• Proven ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels of the organization in a courteous and cooperative manner.
• Ability to foster a cooperative and collaborative work environment
• Serve as a trusted partner to others within the enrollment division and campus wide.
• Support other divisional and institutional goals throughout campus.
