Job Description
The Consumer Revenue Creative team is responsible for the development of all multi-channel creative marketing assets for a subset of Condé Nast brands (Vogue, Vanity Fair, GQ, Allure, Bon Appetit, The New Yorker, Wired, Architectural Digest, etc.). Consumer Revenue Creative generates revenue from consumers through subscriptions including print, digital, and membership products such as Vogue club, and commerce & continuity businesses such as the Allure Beauty Box.
We are looking for a proactive Director of Project Management with a track record overseeing the operations and production for high-volume, fast-paced creative services organizations, preferably with an agency or media background. This role will report to the Senior Director of Consumer Revenue Creative.
As the Director of Project Management, you will develop and direct PM operations and strategic planning to meet Consumer Revenue goals through a creative lens. Providing overall strategic governance for projects by establishing standards, ways of working, processes, and tools used for effective project delivery and wider cross-functional socialization. Brings an analytical and performance-driven approach to project management with the ability to anticipate what’s needed for what’s next.
You are an efficiency pro with a passion for ensuring creative teams stay informed, on task, and on budget when it comes to delivering projects with timely deadlines.
Possesses a flexible mindset and comfort level managing multiple projects at the same time, interfacing with several brand teams (including senior stakeholders), and working cross-functionally with different divisions within the company.
Oversee all creative project management with a team of graphic and digital designers across the Consumer Marketing organization. Creative marketing assets include: email, site ads, order pages, paid social, video, and print.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to reviewing project requirements, reviewing briefs to ensure that it includes all details of the creative needs, assisting with setting project goals and expectations, helping cross-functional teams prioritize based on driving revenue, maintaining timelines, identifying/resolving blockers, scheduling and steering weekly and monthly status meetings, and overseeing overall workflow.
Plan in collaboration with the creative leadership team, procurement, and finance to determine resource needs based on workload, scope, and help to identify & onboard talent. Additionally, manage relationships and communication with external partners, agencies, and vendors to ensure that they are delivering on scope, budget, and timelines.
Drives post-mortem sessions, evaluating what worked well and areas for improvement with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure that we are constantly learning and socializing key learnings with the wider org.
Develop and maintain a monthly reporting process that showcases and quantifies the creative output & ROI for senior management.

Required Experience/Skills
  • 10+ years in project management with a team of multidisciplinary designers, copywriters, and developers in a fast-paced creative marketing environment
  • Understanding of direct response best practices, multi-channel marketing project management, and brand campaign development. Knowledge of ADA-compliant design/coding is required.
  • Highly organised and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining clear and proactive flow of communication and ownership of tasks across multiple departments, meeting deadlines, brand and business objectives, and budget.
  • Development & implementation of best practices in ways of working (including a full audit), processes, and optimizations in a highly-matrixed environment. Ability to shepherd teams against a common vision/goal.
  • Prior management experience required, oversee the development of 1-2 direct reports
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders is required
  • Agency or media background is strongly preferred with experience in managing projects focused on driving subscriptions, memberships, and commerce
  • Understanding of key KPIs and metrics associated with driving Consumer Revenue creative
  • Superb attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to optimize and flex when needed, demonstrate both a strategic and tactical approach to creative project management
  • Experience partnering with international cross-functional teams is preferred
  • Experience with contract negotiations is a plus
  • Technical skills: Project management software such as Basecamp/Airtable or others, G Suite; knowledge of design applications such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, and After-effects
Base Salary: $115,000 - $145,000
