Summary

Council for Airport Opportunity (CAO) is a non-profit organization that supports the airport community with its talent acquisition needs. CAO has a proven track record for sourcing and staffing the right talent for top companies at JFK, Newark, and LaGuardia Airports. The Driver Helper will work onsite at JFK Airport.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist drivers with loading, off-loading, pick-up and delivery of goods and materials.
• Load/unload aircraft according to airline and DO & CO regulations and specifications and ensure flights are catered correctly at all times.
• Ensure all vehicles are maintained in full working condition (including fueling and pre/post checks) and report any vehicle irregularities to dispatch immediately.
• Comply with all Airport and Airlines and other applicable rules/regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in loading / offloading or any related logistics activities
• Valid Driver's License is a plus
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or G.E.D
• Must be reliable and available to work varied hours, weekends, and holidays
