HR Works is seeking an experienced EEO, Affirmative Action Compliance Consultant to join our team in Fairport, NY. In this client-facing position, your role will be to provide consultation and expertise related to affirmative action (AA) and equal opportunity (EO) in the workplace. If you enjoy analyzing data, interpreting and applying regulations, educating clients across industries, supporting diversity in the workforce, and working in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment, this role is a great fit for you! A hybrid remote work model is currently available for this position.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Develop affirmative action plans (AAPs) in compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Serve as the project lead to assign responsibilities to ensure accurate and timely completion of projects
  • Conduct analyses on client data in Excel and industry-specific software programs, applying regulatory knowledge to prepare the data
  • Prepare and interpret statistical reports
  • Advise clients on the implementation of an AAP and application of AA/EO regulations
  • Prepare client workforce data for the filing of EEO-1, VETS-4212, CA Pay, and other state or federal reports
  • Create forms, articles, and other tools to assist clients with compliance
  • Research and recommend diversity outreach strategies
  • Prepare reports for and advise clients going through OFCCP audits

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in affirmative action and human resources or staffing required
  • Experience working with large data sets in Excel required
  • BA/BS degree or higher level of education preferred
  • HR certification and experience in consultation and project management preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Proficiency in Excel and other M365 applications
  • Strong customer service, verbal, and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to gather, summarize, and present meaningful information
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines under pressure
