Primary Duties & Responsibilities

· Performs cycle counts.

· Supervises the general warehouse operation, including processing and production.

· Schedules production in consultation with other managers.

· Verifies outgoing core orders as to correctness and insures product quality control.

· Provides back-up support on scrap shipments.

· Oversees incoming and outgoing shipments.

· Directs the processing of incoming core shipments.

· Serves as backup to the supervisor of auto wrecking.

· Inspects and processes returned core goods.

· Enforces company environmental and safety compliance.

· Serves as a designated Inventory System Specialist.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and other Requirements

• Experience supervising subordinate employees.
• Correctly and consistently lift up to 75 pounds and carry it up to 20 feet.
• An in-depth knowledge of engines, transmissions and associated parts.
• Experience using a variety of industrial machinery and equipment, including forklifts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.
• Familiarity with office and computer equipment and specialized software applications, including Scrap Dragon.
• Work inside and outside in an industrial yard and warehouse environment.
• Ability to interact with and supervise a culturally diverse workforce.

Spanish speaking a plus but not required

Heavy lifting is required

Must have forklift experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour
