The Entertainment Art Crew position sets up and strikes scenic elements for special events; loading and unloading trucks with sets, props, and tools, coordinating pickup and delivery of artwork, and providing assistance with warehouse storage and asset inventory.

SCHEDULE AVAILABILITY
Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Must have flexible availability to work Sunday through Saturday, all shifts (i.e. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift) including holidays.
ABILITIES & BEHAVIORS
Energetic (this position requires stamina and ability to work at night.) Focus (mental concentration required to ensure safety, particularly when working 3rd shift.) Appearance (Disney Look.) Courtesy and respect for others. Willingness to follow instructions. Cooperation with fellow Cast Members, within and outside the maintenance Line of Business, including engineers and operations personnel. Ability to interface with other crafts, such as electricians and sound mechanics. Reliability (by reporting to assignments on-time and prepared for work.)

Responsibilities :
- Maintain show standards
- Review the condition of the assets and notate any damage
- Set up and strike of events
- Review load list for events and load/offload assets onto trucks securely
- Secure safely for transportation
- Perform minor repairs
- For inventory, measure/describe/photograph asset
- Pickup and delivery of artwork
- Verify address, contact info, and map directions
- Ensure vehicles have adequate fuel and notify requester when pick-up/delivery is complete
- Warehouse assistance with operating forklift and/or pallet jack to assist in putting away or pulling assets
- Perform basic cleanup and housekeeping functions; break down cardboard, sweep, clear aisles of assets and equipment, and wash/clean oversized set pieces
- Perform minor repairs to assets
Basic Qualifications :
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid CA Driver’s License
- Receptive to working in outdoor conditions with heat, cold and all types of weather
- Ability to use basic tools such as hammers, screw guns, screw drivers, pallet jacks, hand truck, dollies, and scenic carts
- Comfortable and willing to drive
- Comfortable working in a physical role with heavy lifting
- Good verbal and computer skills
- Reliable and flexible with work schedule with availability to work 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous entertainment industry/theater experience
- Carpentry experience
- Basic computer knowledge
