Summary
The Director of Maintenance primary responsibility is to manage all building and grounds maintenance to keep all equipment and facility property in good working order. Daily tasks include fulfilling all assigned work orders as well as daily upkeeping of the building and grounds ensuring all equipment and facility property are in good working order. This includes daily assessments of all common areas to determine any necessary maintenance work, preventative maintenance cares, and periodic in-depth assessments of the building inside and outside as well as the parking lot and grounds. Ensuring our parking lot and sidewalks are safe for staff and patient’s is our highest priority during winter. Occasional on-call duties required to respond to maintenance emergencies. The Promontory Point Rehabilitation mission is to provide the greatest transitional rehabilitation and skilled nursing care experience in a distinct 5-star setting.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in general maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, repairs, electrical, or equivalent technical knowledge is preferred.
- Must have the ability to bend, stoop, and lift.
- Must be able to be on your feet most of the shift.
- Ability to achieve high level safety throughout maintenance duties.
- License driver with well working automobile for reliability getting to and from work in all types of weather.
