Do you want to make an impactful, positive difference in the lives of individuals every day? Come join Holcomb’s amazing team of trained, empathetic employees! Here at Holcomb Behavioral Health Systems, we operate as one big family; counting on each staff member to make positive contributions that improve the quality of life of those we serve, as well the quality of life of our Holcomb family!
Holcomb Behavioral Health Systems is seeking motivated professionals to join their team as a Family Based Clinician. Working in tandem, you and your partner will carry a caseload of up to 8 families, servicing areas within assigned county. While in the role of a family-based clinician, you will develop strong skills to assess crisis situations and provide appropriate interventions where needed. Your clinical skills will soar as you will be regularly faced with intense and in-depth therapy sessions, You will be under the supervision of a Clinical Supervisor, whom you will work closely with to improve the lives of families who are facing emotional challenges that significantly disrupt their lives.
A typical day of a Family Based Clinician consists of meeting with the families on your caseload in all different environments. At times you’ll see families at home, within the community, at the child’s school, or even when you support them at their mental health appointments. Often times you will end up spending summer-time sessions outside with your clients, joining them in activities they love. The beauty of being a family-based clinician is that you can integrate yourself into the lives of the families you serve on a deeper, more intimate level. This creates an invaluable therapeutic relationship. Sessions are usually held for 1.5-2hrs and focus on the key areas of the Eco-systemic Structural Family Therapy model, also known as ESFT. As a family-based clinician, you will work with your families to improve emotional regulation, build stronger attachment between caregivers and child, increase healthy functioning within the home through structure and work to support a healthy alliance between caregivers.
Choosing to be a family-based clinician at Holcomb Behavioral Health mean that you join a team that will feel like a second family to you. While days can be exciting and fast paced, you will always be able to reach out to your team to decompress, seek guidance and support and exchange resources on a regular basis. You get clinical training in the Eco-Systemic Structural Family Therapy model, which is an evidenced based practice. You will have the ability to create your own schedule, which allows significant flexibility. While driving is a large part of the job, you will be compensated with mileage and travel reimbursement. This opportunity is a full-time position, which offers up to 20 days paid time off and 10 recognized federal paid holidays. A 403b savings plan, short and long-term disability plans as well as a health plan that provides coverage for medical, dental and vision are also offered as additional benefits to make working for Holcomb the best professional decision you will make for your career!
Requirements:
Master's degree
