Responsibilities
Meet with mothers/parents to explain the Healthy Mom, Thriving Baby program and to answer questions.
Assist mothers/parents in completing assessments including the Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) survey and a resiliency scale.
Discuss assessment outcomes and the impact of trauma on parenting and health.
Discuss mother/parent/family strengths, resiliency and challenges and assist the mother to create a parenting/health plan to support OUD recovery and relapse prevention.
Assist the Trauma Informed Care Coordinator, the program counselor, and clinical staff to use the assessments in creating effective treatment and recovery services aligned with patient/family strengths.
Assist the Trauma Informed Care Coordinator provide training and education to St. Vincent Hospital Hot Springs clinical staff and community partners per the Healthy Mom, Thriving Baby program model.
Actively connect mother/family with supportive resources within their home community. Knowledge of community and/or regional resources is a plus.
Employ culturally effective capabilities demonstrating a sensitivity and responsiveness to varying cultural characteristics and beliefs.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Social work, Human or Child development, or Education. Minimum of two years working in a social service or healthcare agency

$18.74 - $25.77 /hour
