GVI, Inc, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking an experienced Financial Systems Analyst with experience in Navy financial systems and Navy ERP to join our Team in Newport, RI!

Position Responsibilities:

· Provides Project Management support, including generating Draft Project Management Plans; entering and updating project planning data into NUWCDIVNPT Financial Information Systems and the Code 70 Document SharePoint; preparing and submitting Financial Analyses for Government review; and analyzing Sponsor Project Objectives and Requirements and Schedules.

· Provides Financial Analysis and Funding support, including Continuing Resolution (CR) Analysis of scenario-based impacts on project plans for Government review.

· Provides Earned Value Management (EVM) support, including processing recommendations for improvement to the Code 70 EVM Quarterly Execution Review (QER) Process; and preparing Quarterly EVM Reports for Government review using project budget and financial expenditure data.

· Provides Financial Management support, including preparing Outgoing Funding Document requests for Government review and approval via email or SharePoint; preparing Monthly Expenditure Reports that compare funding appropriation level obligations and expenditures to Financial Management, Budget (FMB); analyzing Code 70 Financial Data for the purpose of monitoring cost reporting, identification of erroneous labor charges (i.e. wrong network activity charged), cost overruns, and Service Cost Center (SCC) rejected inputs; performing Fiscal Year Close-Out and Fiscal Year Start-Up analyses; providing SCC Analyses to include monthly and end-of-fiscal year projections of SCC balances (e.g. break-even, profit, or deficit) and identification of financial issues if forecasting a deficit; researching and identifying root cause and corrective actions associated with rejected or suspense financial transaction records; drafting corrective action requests as identified in ERP Weekly Financial Accounting System Interfaces Rejection Report and SCC Manager Rejection Report; researching funding document and transactional inquires; and reviewing purchase requisition related documentation.

Position Requirements:

· US Citizen.

· Secret clearance.

· Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field.

· Demonstrated experience in developing draft project management plans, definitized tasking documentation, and cost estimates.

· Demonstrated experience in Earned Value Management (EVM) and Financial/Cost Analysis.

· Minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience with current Navy financial systems and Navy ERP Transactions.
