Flavor Operator – Your future position?

We are looking to fill a Flavor Operator role within the Basics Department at our East Hanover, NJ manufacturing facility. In this position you will be responsible for making quality product while maximizing product yield and maintaining a safe working environment.

In this role you will:

• Manufacture products: in a safe and timely manner, you will load/unload stills and extractors, weigh raw materials, grind botanicals, work with distillation columns, perform extractions, and monitor progress through the DCS. You will also compound finished products as specified on batch record or as instructed by supervisor

• Package product: you will be responsible for weighing and packaging finished products in a neat and accurate manner
• Act as a compliance leader: you will perform departmental cleaning as well as all sanitation and housekeeping duties in compliance with GMP guidelines
• Complete testing: perform in-process testing as needed to assure product quality

Does your professional profile include:

• High school diploma or equivalent required with proficiency in basic math skills

• Minimum 2 years in flavors-related manufacturing environment is required
• Prior experience on a Fork lift is preferred
• Strong raw material/product knowledge: color, odor, etc.
• Must be capable of performing routine work assignments, multi-tasking and following instructions with minimal supervision
• Must have strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team
• Needs to be detail oriented, committed to quality, self motivated with a positive attitude
