Job description

Xtreme Coating is a Louisville-based, family-owned company that specializes in high end coating and polish solutions for tile and grout, VCT, marble, granite, terrazzo, and concrete flooring in a commercial and industrial environment. We work with numerous businesses in the Ohio Valley market to provide restoration and repair work on hard-surface floors. Xtreme offers a wide variety of services to its clients, such as: Tile Surface Sealer, Concrete Surface Sealer, Anti-Skid, Anti-Graffiti Sealing/Protection and Decorative Concrete. We continue to experience rapid growth and are in need of floor technicians in our Decorative Concrete and General Floor Coating & Restoring departments.

If you have experience in the construction or janitorial world – we love to train highly motivated, eager people that like to show up on time, pay close attention to details and take pride in their work.

If you have experience behind a floor grinder, have efficiently used a hand grinder, have expertise staining concrete, have polished concrete floors, or have effectively laid down epoxy floors, get in touch with us NOW!

We’re looking for energetic, hard-working, dependable individuals to join a stable family business in a fast growth industry. The right individual will start as a Floor Tech with the opportunity to advance to a Lead Tech position.

Physical Activity Requirements of a Field Tech

Load/unload trucks and trailers

Equipment (including floor grinders)

Materials (including 5-gallon buckets of floor products)

Supplies (including propane tanks)

Operate Walk-Behind Planetary Floor Grinder (800-1100 lbs.)

Operate hand held grinders

Utilize Rack-Attacks

Operate various vacuuming systems

Propane vacuums

Electric vacuums

Slurry vacuums

Ability to constantly bend, squat, kneel, stand and walk for a 10-hour shift

Ability to push and pull equipment weighing in excess of 200 lbs.

Ability to lift objects weighing 50 lbs.
