Job description
JCI has an immediate opening for a careful forklift operator to move packages and material around our facilities. You will be operating a forklift with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety.
You must be a responsible individual with great experience in driving industrial vehicles.
Essential functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Unload materials and stack in assigned areas
- Move materials from storage areas, machines, and loading docks, into trucks or storage facilities
- Performing daily equipment checks
- Maintain safe work environment
Minimum Qualifications:
Required: Age 18 or older, good math, language, and reading skills; basic computer skills may be required, high degree of attention required to prevent injury to others.
Valid Driver's License, clean driving record, and forklift certification per OSHA standards
- Ability to communicate effectively with peers and supervisors
- Meet established guidelines and production area skill matrix
- Work in a fast-based environment, perform repetitive tasks
- Work with limited supervision
