GENERAL SUMMARY:

Operate forklift to load and unload trucks and railcars, taking product to and from the production lines and storing and staging product and maintaining all required records. Operate computerized barcoding equipment.

• Fill out forklift checklist with needed information of condition of forklift.
• Operate the forklift in a safe manner in order to prevent injury and avoid damage.
• Assist in the loading and unloading of trucks
• .Sort and store pallets from the line.
• Assist placing product on depal so depal operator can fill line for labeling.
• Operate computerized barcoding system.
• Empty garbage hoppers at the end of the shipt.
• May perform other as duties assigned by the supervisor/manager.
• Adhere to all Lakeside Foods policies and procedures.
• Notify supervisor immediately if any unsafe or potentially hazardous conditions are discovered.
