Description
Our Front Desk Lead are key members of our administrative staff. They are responsible for providing exceptional customer service and making our customers feel welcome.
Responsibilities
- Respond to all customer inquiries in a manner that supports SafeSplash’s mission, vision and values.
- Possess mastery of all swim school policies and procedures in order to consistently communicate and fairly administer those policies and procedures.
- Required to be friendly and courteous at all times and to greet every customer as they enter and leave.
- Manage customer service at the front desk and retail counter.
- Direct facility tours to new/prospective customers
- Responsible for answering the phone in a timely manner and getting enough information to direct calls in an appropriate manner.
- Responsible for all retail sales
- Responsible for stocking retail & maintaining coffee shop
- Responsible for keeping the facility in a clean, presentable manner at all times during their shift
Other Duties
Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
Required:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must be able to lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds of weight
Strongly Preferred:
- Retail or recreation facility experience
- Knowledge of swimming and/or swimming instruction
- Experience working with children
Uniforms
Front desk staff is required to wear a uniform. The uniform consists of a SafeSplash polo shirt and solid black or khaki pants. Jeans are also acceptable if they are free of tears, holes, and excessive wear. Front desk staff may also wear shorts, skirts, or capris as long as they are knee length or longer. SafeSplash Swim School will provide one polo shirt per calendar year per employee. Additional uniforms must be purchased by the employee from SafeSplash Swim School at or below cost. The uniform must be maintained in a clean, professional manner. Other clothing (pants, shorts, shoes, etc.) worn with the uniform must also be clean and professional. If at any time a supervisor determines an employee’s uniform or clothing is inappropriate he/she may require the employee to purchase an additional uniform and/or be sent home without pay.
