Does your ideal job involve providing excellent customer care to families of a variety of wonderful pets? Wildwood Veterinary Hospital is a well-established, privately owned small animal/avian/exotic practice in San Jose. We are a family-oriented practice and have a fabulous team and a great client base. We are looking for a part-time (24-30 hrs/week) front desk receptionist who would like to work in a fun, caring, and fast-paced environment. A love of animals is a must and experience is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Greeting clients, both in person and on the phone, in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner
• Preparing charts
• Taking payments
• Checking clients in and out
• Providing clear communication with clients and staff members
• Opening and closing hospital duties
• Assisting in cleaning of the hospital

Requirements:

• Be able to communicate clearly, professionally, and effectively, both verbally and in writing, with clients and team members
• Be detail oriented but able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Have a bright and positive attitude

• Maintain a professional appearance

COVID-19 considerations:
To decrease exposure, we are currently providing curb side service. All staff are vaccinated. There are UV air sterilizers present within the hospital.

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
