Working with us you’ll grow your skills with front-end design frameworks such as Foundation to meet design goals; incorporate design into Drupal CMS; use automation tools like Git to your advantage; work closely with our great group of backend web developers; communicate with customers to determine their expectations; and help programmers with user interface design. You’ll grow your proficiency with PHP, our primary programming language and become well-verse in web accessibility.

Reporting to the Web Manager Strategist, the Front-End Web Developer will be responsible for the following duties:

• Developing, maintaining, and enhancing web applications for departments on behalf of the SLE Digital Strategies & Services (DSS) department.
• Creating interfaces and add-on applications for existing software.
• Developing new web applications for units.
• Working with various clients to determine business processes and web application requirements.
• Creating user interface design and functional design.
• Designing tests for web applications that meet the client’s requirements and pass tests.
• Providing outstanding and professional customer service for all web applications and support, including assisting with training and deployment.
• Providing training and assistance to team members related to web applications.
• Keeping current on information technology product offerings through reading trade literature and attending seminars and trade shows pertaining to the business of RHS.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
