Job description

These positions are for full-time employment with full benefits from Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday work. The responsibilities include working in production areas, packing fresh chicken products, performing grading inspection, and other duties as assigned.

Pay rates between $19.00-23.50 plus Attendance Premium and Shift Premiums of $0.50 and $1.00 for hours worked during swing and nights.

Day Shift (Mornings)
Live Hang 5:00 am – 1:25 pm
Evisceration 5:05 am – 1:45 am
Re-Hang Line 6:50 am – 3: 45 pm
Packaging 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
Bag Line 10:30 am – 7:00 pm
Weigh & Price 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
Loading Dock 8:00 am – 4:30 pm

Swing Shift (Afternoons)
Live Hang 1:20 pm – 10:10 pm
Evisceration 1:40 pm – 10:30 pm
Re-Hang Line 3:30 pm – 12:00 am
Packaging 4:30 pm – 1:30 am
Weigh & Price 5:45 pm – 2:30 am
Loading Dock 7:00 pm – 5:00 am

• Use small hand-held tools (i.e., knives, scissors) to cut chicken into segments for product run.
• Pack product into foam trays and/or plastic bags.
• Place labels and perform arrangement on trays filled with chicken parts.
• Repetitive grasping, pushing, and pulling motions while packing, cutting, and grading product.
• Rotate through various positions on production areas throughout the shift.
• Place empty trays and pads on the line.
• Visually inspect and grade chicken parts to determine grade for production lines.
• Work regularly in a cold or hot environment depending on designated work area.
• Communicate with Supervision, Lead personnel, and co-workers for assistance regarding assigned task(s), rotation, and production issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervision based on Operational needs.
