Job Description - General Manager( make up to $65k/yr)

Reports to: Sales Manager


Key Roles and Accountability:
  • LMA (Leadership, Management, and Accountability)
  • Maintain proper staffing levels
  • Exceed scorecard goals for your location
  • Maintain facility cleanliness and operations to company standards
  • Demonstrate and support company values, processes and procedures
Duties
  • Manage work schedule to ensure proper coverage.
  • Accommodate required staff breaks and lunches.
  • Be a consistent producer of memberships.
  • Cover all location roles as needed but always having the Cashier role a priority.
  • Create and process incident reports to company standards.
  • Contribute to new employee training.
  • Provide ongoing coaching/training to your location staff.
  • Ensure all cashiers can understand the sales membership conversation and Q&As naturally.
  • Manage your staff to maintain your location cleaning schedule.
  • Report maintenance issues or needed repairs ASAP to the maintenance team.
  • Ensure supply levels are maintained for location operations.
  • Respond to customer complaints and cancellation requests.
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and work ethic as an example to your staff.
  • Respond to company communication in a timely manner utilizing the company preferred apps and programs.
  • Address people's issues with your staff related to core values, GWC (get it, want it, capable), attendance and work performance according to company procedure.
  • Participate in weekly GM meetings.
  • Contribute to company projects when requested.
  • Submit community sponsorship requests to the marketing leader for consideration.
  • Flexible to work out staffing issues when needed outside your scheduled working hours.
  • Support and back up your fellow GMs as needed and can be accommodated.
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Six months or more of proven success in a sales position or two years or more of leadership and management experience in a similar industry
  • Over a year of proven success in an inside sales role at the same company
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Excellent internal communication skills that foster trust
  • Able to manage new communication and operational technology as used by the company
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team player in a close-knit sales team
  • Proactive learner; ambitious and success-driven
  • Confident, energetic, and organized
  • Self-motivated and driven to excellence
  • Responsive to customer's needs
  • Able to multitask and prioritize without losing focus
  • Able to fit in a great culture and have fun
Compensation
Make up to $65k/yr
Salary: $40,000 Training / 45,000 after training is completeBonus: up to $20,000 potential (not guaranteed)
Health Care Coverage includes Dental and Vision (optional)
Paid vacation after one year (FULL TIME EMPLOYEE ONLY)
