Job Requirements:

The right Greenhouse Technician Rockstar is a person who enjoys working and interacting with others, can move fluidly between tasks, can receive clear direction, and has no fear of asking questions for clarification or collaborating with others (teamwork). This person enjoys working with their hands, solving problems, and working closely with (assisting) the Greenhouse Manager. Standing for most of the day, working in weather extremes, and being able to lift 30 lbs are crucial.

Team Responsibilities:

· Preparing dirt and trays

· Planting seeds

· Potting up plugs

· Moving trays of plants, bags of dirt, boxes, etc

· Fertilizing, trimming, and inspecting plants

· Watering plants (following instructions)

· Weeding in and around greenhouses

· Cleaning pots, trays, work areas

· Light maintenance work (ie. cleaning/repairing hoses, replacing fans)

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, great vision (contacts and glasses are fine), 1 year experience in greenhouse/agriculture/maintenance greatly preferred.
