UW MEDICAL CENTER - MONTLAKE - RADIOLOGY-SUPPORT SVC department has an outstanding opportunity for a Per Diem, variable shift, HOSPITAL ASSISTANT (NAR or NAC) position. The Hospital Assistant will assist the medical and nursing staff by performing delegated tasks that involve direct patient care; transportation of patients, supplies and specimens; ordering and stocking of supplies; and maintenance/set up of special equipment. Participate in unit and selected departmental activities to promote effective problem solving and communication.
Competitive candidates will exhibit clear and concise communications skills, both verbal and written.
REQUIREMENTS:
High School graduation AND six months experience involving customer service in a health care setting OR six months experience involving direct patient care OR equivalent education/experience.
LEGAL REQUIREMENT:
Nursing Assistant-Registered (NAR) with the State of Washington
or
Nursing Assistant-Certified (NAC/CNA) with the State of Washington
NAC or NAR must be active at time of hire
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT:
Valid AHA BLS/CPR Card
