POSITION OVERVIEW
Performs activities in the human resources area. Includes all areas of recruitment, compensation, employee relations and benefits. Will handle regional on-boarding of new hires and training and help guide new hires through complicated process of benefits and compensation. Will have the crucial task of complying with all local, state, and federal regulations for HR. Ideal candidate must be organized, experience, and a dedicated strategist and planner.

QUALIFICATIONS
& REQUIREMENTS

  • Possess superb written and spoken communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching skills.
  • Excellent computer skill, knowledge of HRIS, Excel and demonstrated skills in database management and record keeping.
  • Organized and efficient in daily tasks.
  • HR applicants require a bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of human resources experience
  • Specialized training in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, safety training preferred.
  • General knowledge of employment laws and best practices.

DUTIES & RESPONS
I BILITIES
  • Maintains personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements.
  • Leads the recruiting process in specific regions by coordinating job postings, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, reference checks and maintaining ATS records.
  • Coordinates pre-hire activities including, but not limited to, drug screening and background checks.
  • Schedules and coordinates new hire orientation.
  • Responsible for new hire on-boarding process.
  • Assists with benefit enrollment for new employees.
  • Prepares monthly reports for management as needed.
  • Conducts audits of various personnel files, benefits or other HR programs.
  • Processes terminations and required follow-up activities.
  • Processes payroll.
  • Assists HR staff with various projects as requested.
  • Schedules meetings as directed and assists or prepares communication and correspondence.
  • Manage and resolves employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations as needed.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.
