Key Responsibilities
Currently, Aescit is seeking a Human Resource Generalist. The position would involve in-office work and a professional who is willing to put in extra work if needed to complete their job tasks timely to meet requirements. We are looking for someone seeking long-term employment who is self-motivated, proactive, and willing to grow with our organization. As a Human Resource Generalist, you will work directly with Atkins Electric senior management, and interact with field craft and staff personnel. The key responsibilities and requirements of the position are listed below.
- Monitor and manage employee safety training certifications, and training schedules, and ensure all DOT Required Documentation is maintained.
- Responsible for day-to-day HR functions with primary emphasis on HR workflow, employment certifications management, new hire setup, employee data entrée and documentation, employee file management, and general administrative support.
- Experience working with union reporting, payroll requirements, personnel certification, and data entry/management.
Skill Set
- Microsoft Excel with the ability to build and analyze scheduling spreadsheets.
- Highly organized.
- Assist in the assembly of information for insurance audits.
- Time management skills with the ability to prioritize and complete several projects in tangent.
- Detail focus and patience to triple-check all reports before submittals.
- Personable and professional communications skills with the ability to help employees who are confused to manage personal certifications and access the personnel payroll data from Aescit’s payroll system.
Qualification Requirements:
- High school degree
- 2 years of relevant experience
- Experience with union reporting, payroll requirements, and data entry/management.
- Work will be In-Office in El Dorado, Arkansas.
Non-Mandatory Qualifications:
- DOT Regulations experience is not required but would be advantageous.
- Experience working in electric utility contracting services.
