This position is responsible for supporting the Human Resource functions of KESD for the purpose of recruiting and retaining highly qualified individuals in the Kingdom East School District. These responsibilities include the proper operation of all human resources systems and processes and supporting the Human Resource Manager with human resources and benefits administration in compliance with all applicable federal and state laws, board policy and school district collective bargaining agreements and employee benefit programs. The Kingdom East School District is located in the heart of a vibrant community in the Northeast, Vermont.

We operate seven pre-K-8th grade schools ranging from 60 to 500 students. Our high school students have choice and may opt to attend one of the traditional independent schools -- Lyndon Institute or St. Johnsbury Academy -- or another high school of their choice. We are located about 3 hours from Montreal, Boston and Portland, ME.

Our region is known for breathtaking views and access to great skiing, hiking, mountain biking, fishing, canoeing and other outdoor opportunities. We are close to the White Mountains and the Green Mountains. Both Littleton, NH and St. Johnsbury, VT have numerous fine and performing arts venues.
