Solar Power One is hiring a Human Resources Manager for our company, in a full-time position, based in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

As a Human Resources Manager with Solar Power One, you will lead the HR function and department for the growing organization. This position reports to the President and has a direct report. The selected candidate will have HR Generalist experience, and oversight of recruiting, regulatory compliance, employee relations, and benefits. Initially, this role will be remote, in Ft. Lauderdale, and transition to hybrid, reporting to the new office a few times a week.

Responsibilities:

• Consistently recruiting excellent staff.
• Maintaining a smooth onboarding process.
• Training, counseling, and coaching our staff.
• Conducting performance and wage reviews.
• Developing clear policies and ensuring policy awareness.
• Handling workplace investigations, disciplinary, and termination procedures.

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or equivalent.
• 3 or more years of experience in human resources
• 1 or more years of experience managing a team
• Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Understanding of HR Payroll and compensation policies
