Friendship Senior Options is currently hiring for a full time HVAC Mechanic for its Friendship Village of Schaumburg location. Will perform duties providing skilled HVAC repair, maintenance and installation throughout the campus. Must be able to receive, plan, schedule, and complete work projects involving various HVAC systems in the facility. Must be able to weld, braze and pipe fit units. Reclaim refrigerant and maintain logs as required by governing bodies. Regulate temperature levels for the facility within accepted comfort ranges. Must be able to use standard electrical and hand tools, refrigeration gauges, welding equipment and brazing equipment in a safe and correct manner. Work from work orders, diagrams, manuals, schematics, and supervisor instructions. Be able to perform emergency repairs to prevent injuries and unnecessary damage to Village property. Respond to all emergency situations as requested. Follow all safety rules and maintain work areas in a clean and orderly condition. Perform other duties as required. Perform other related duties as assigned. Commercial HVAC experience preferred.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer
