Job Title: Social Media Manager
Job Summary:
This position is in support of the III Corps Public Affairs Office. The Social Media Manager will develop social media communication plans, content, and engagement.
Responsibilities Include:
- Developing social media content plans that are consistent with the company's brand identity
- Creating consistent, meaningful content on all social media platforms, including writing and editing social media posts; improving customer engagement; and promoting social media campaigns
- Managing a high volume of daily social media posts and communicating with social media followers
- Responding to queries in a timely manner
- Using analytical tools such as Sprinklr, Google Analytics, Hootsuite Pro, and Facebook Insights to monitor and evaluate the company's social media presence and performance
- Preparing daily social media insight reports
- Preparing monthly reports on social media marketing efforts
- Providing a weekly social media assessment, leveraging analytical tools to annotate current efforts, trends, and recommending engagement strategies
- Suggesting adjustments to the overall social media marketing strategy
- Staying up to date on best practices and emerging trends in social media
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field
- 3+ years of social media experience, including planning and managing content in a corporate or agency setting with social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Reddit
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A thorough understanding of social media management and strategy
- Experience using various analytics software, including Sprinklr
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
Work Setting and Environment:
- Monday - Friday, normal working hours
- Work is to be performed at III Corps offices in Fort Cavazos
