International Supply Chain Specialist is directly responsible for the daily activities of clients within the OOCL Logistics Supply Chain Management portfolio. As the International Supply Chain Specialist, you will ensure best in class service is provided through understanding and implementation of specific business requirements. You will coordinate with global teams to resolve service challenges and drive continual process improvement. The fundamental goal of the International Supply Chain Specialist is to develop a trusted partnership with our supply chain management clients ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or comparable combination of experience and education OR
• Minimum 3-5 years supply chain experience can be combined with education
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Ability to travel to customers’ office as needed

Main Job Duties:

• Establish, maintain, and ensure understanding of customer specific global operating procedures
• Act as lead contact for problem resolution and day-to-day account management
• Coordinate with internal global offices and external 3rd parties mitigating disruptions to customer’s supply chain
• Foster customer’s knowledge of OOCL Logistics’ system(s) providing visibility and data analysis on key aspects of the supply chain
• Offer and implement innovative solutions delivering efficiency and potential cost savings
• Provide business driven insights through proactive analysis of essential supply chain processes, data, and key performance indicators
