Work Environment:
Exposure to manufacturing environment, including exposure to oils and cleaners, loud noises required hearing protection, exposure to moving parts, equipment, and coolants. Eye protection required in all plant work areas and safety shoes required with steel toe and must be slip resistant.
Essential Functions:
- Leads development and maintenance of cycle counting process, schedule, and continuous improvement activities with goal to improve inventory accuracy.
- Responsible to lead implementation and sustainability for corrective actions derived from inventory discrepancies
- Participate in cross functional investigations and meetings to identify root causes and corrective actions
- Supports with Min/Max and PFEP analysis
- Supports obtaining disposition on Quality Hold materials
- Supports the modifications to plant floor and marketplace footprints/master layout
- Participate and assist in leading the plant wide year end physical inventory.
- Perform cycle counts of material inventory on production floor and stock locations including offsite warehouse(s) per established schedule
- Leads the research inventory discrepancies and reconcile them.
- Provides guidance to cycle count coordinator on day-to-day activities and project management activities
- Publish cycle count results on regular intervals and maintain metrics as required
- Generate and maintain reports using a basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Sets up new items for inventory as identified through the ECO process
- Conduct Kanban Card Audits and maintain established card levels by part number.
- Review system records/reports for stock location accuracy and integrity
- Helps in other departments such as Receiving, Shipping and Material Handling as required.
- Assist the Materials Department in maintaining and improving all inventory replenishment systems.
- Performs other duties as necessary or assigned by management.
- Operates lift truck or issues hand truck as required
- Maintains good housekeeping at all times.
- Performs duties while following all company safety guidelines.
Employee must regularly lift and move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee is required to walk, stand, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Must be able to stand for 12 hours per day.
Required:
High School Degree or Equivalent
Required:
4 years work experience in the flow, delivery and organization of materials in a manufacturing environment. Working knowledge of computers, Excel and willingness to advance skills as needed. Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a team environment. Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed, determined by business need.

- Qualified and trained individual will provide as a back-up in the event of an absence of another employees.
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and machining instructions, and procedure manuals.
