GENERAL EXPECTATIONS OF THE JOB: Have a real passion for customer service and our brands. Ensure that every interaction with our customers is exemplary and their experience exceeds their expectations. You will craft the customer experience by handling all customer interactions as needed, accommodating special requests whenever possible and resolving customer concerns. You will assist customers in learning how to fully operate their vehicle, follow-up with customers and create additional appointments for vehicle tutorials and take an active role in maintaining the integrity of the delivery process. You will strive to ensure the dealership attains consistent high scores and positive feedback on surveys and reviews while proactively seeking out information and mastering operations of all features and controls on all vehicles.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:

  • Be an outstanding Jaguar Land Rover Concierge and Encore Specialist
  • Delivering vehicles as needed or shuttling customers
  • Cleaning vehicles and preparing them for customer delivery
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all vehicles displayed for sale
  • Supporting Sales and Service staff as needed

Interact with customers by:

  • Answering our phones
  • Interacting via email and text
  • In person assistance at the dealership
  • Delivery of New Vehicles
  • Consistent training in new product and new technology
  • Assist customers with technology issues in the service department
  • Aid in enhancing each customer’s experience through the client concierge/technology center

WORK ENVIRONMENT: General work environment will be indoors but outside time will be necessary to view inventory, assist with a delivery or assist with a client or fellow employee. PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF THE JOB: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance; and frequently stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Repetitive hand/finger movement; grasping/grabbing with hands and pushing and/or pulling is required. Occasional travel is required for vehicle test drives and/or certification training in other cities/states.

EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK: Work evening, weekend and other hours as required. General expectations of the position require 40 hours per week at the dealership.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: College diploma or the equivalent; one to two years related technical experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Valid Oklahoma Driver’s License as approved by the Company's Insurance, acceptable background check and compliance with the Company’s Drug & Alcohol Policy. Technical employees are required to maintain Manufacturers training standards and certifications. All employees are required to maintain compliance with Don Thornton Automotive Groups Safety and Human Resource training.
